Demystify the Art of Tactical Shooting!
Defensive Pistol Clinics are an intense 4 part series comprised of 4/4 hour courses designed to equip the shooter with the skills of advanced firearms handling and refresh prior training. This class consists of both classroom lecture and practical application during range exercises.
Shooters will be expected to be proficient with the operation and safe handling of their firearm.

Equipment List:
Pistol or Revolver - For safety reasons a minimum barrel length of 3" is required
3 magazines or speed loaders
A Sturdy strong side holster (must be able to work with one hand)
A sturdy Belt
Magazine pouch (a dual mag pouch is recommended but not required)
Minimum of 300 rounds of approved pistol ammo
Eye & Ear protection
Legal Pistol Permit from any state or LEO Credentials.
Pen & PaperA baseball hat is recommended to keep brass from hitting your face, but not required.
To ensure a seat in the class, you must pre-register.

Day 1
Getting Your Gun in the Fight -Introduction to the defensive mindset -Firearms Safety for the Defensive Training Environment -Equipment considerations & concealment -The Ready Position & Threat scans -Engaging Threats Classes will run 3-4 hours depending on the number of students and the pace of the class. Sessions will be a mix of classroom and live fire drills.
Day 2
Keeping your Gun in the Fight -Magazine reloads -Malfunction Drills -Single Hand Drills -Support Hand Only Drills Classes will run 3-4 hours depending on the number of students and the pace of the class. Sessions will be a mix of classroom and live fire drills.
Day 3
Getting Out of the Fight -Situational Awareness -Use of Cover and Concealment, or Escape -Shooting and Moving -Shooting while Moving -Weapons handling on the move Classes will run 3-4 hours depending on the number of students and the pace of the class. Sessions will be a mix of classroom and live fire drills.
Day 4
Controlling the Night -A Realistic Discussion of the "Tactical Flashlight" -How the human eye deals with low light/no light -Low light shooting techniques -Low light weapons handling techniques Classes will run 3-4 hours depending on the number of students and the pace of the class. Sessions will be a mix of classroom and live fire drills.
